EN GROUPE:

On lance une circlesong, co-impro ou autre forme, avec pour consigne d’explorer des timbres et articulations inhabituels. Le facilitateur peut éventuellement donner des exemples à reproduire, ou inviter les participants à imiter des instruments de musique imaginaires (ou réels). Il peut aussi inviter à exploiter un son/instrument un certain temps avant de passer à autre chose, ou au contraire de changer très souvent. Il peut également reprendre/aider les personnes qui lui semblent ne pas facilement sortir de leurs habitudes. On peut aussi, en co-impro, s’inspirer des sons des autres, les utiliser en solo, etc…

A circlesong, co-impro or other form is started, with the instruction to explore unusual timbres and articulations. The facilitator may give examples to reproduce, or invite participants to imitate imaginary (or real) musical instruments. The facilitator can also invite participants to use a sound/instrument for a while before moving on to something else, or to change very often. They can also help people who don’t seem to find it easy to break out of their habits. As a co-impro, you can also take inspiration from other people’s sounds, use them as a solo, etc…
